Terms of Service

By creating an account or using It's Official ("the Service", "the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

It's Official is an AI-powered wedding planning platform that provides tools including AI plan generation, checklists, budget tracking, vendor discovery, vendor messaging, guest list management, timeline building, vendor profile management with optional Instagram integration, and a public wedding website builder. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. AI-generated content is for guidance and planning purposes only. It does not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as such.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at legal@its-official.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. One account per person, couple or vendor business. You may not share your account with others or create accounts for third parties without our written consent.

We offer free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Free trial: where offered, a trial period applies to new paid subscriptions. You will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel. Cancellation: you may cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods except where required by law. Price changes: we will give you at least 30 days notice of any price changes via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You agree not to: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or copy the platform • Use AI features to generate harmful, misleading or fraudulent content • Spam vendors with automated or bulk unsolicited messages • Share your account or resell access to the Service • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or feature restrictions • Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property • Use the Instagram integration to display content you do not own or have rights to use • Connect an Instagram account that does not belong to your vendor business We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate wedding plans, vendor recommendations, draft messages and other content. You acknowledge that: • AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your specific situation • Vendor recommendations are based on publicly available data and your profile - we do not endorse any vendor • AI-drafted messages to vendors are templates - you are responsible for reviewing them before sending • We make no warranty that AI-generated plans will result in a successful wedding • You should independently verify any vendor information, pricing and availability You own the output generated using your data on the platform, subject to any third-party rights.

If you are a vendor and choose to connect your Instagram account to It's Official: Content rights: You warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use and display the Instagram content (photos, videos, captions) that will appear on your vendor profile via this integration. This includes any rights of subjects depicted (couples, models, third parties). Licence to display: By connecting your Instagram account, you grant It's Official a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your Instagram content on your vendor profile and in search results within the It's Official platform. This licence is limited to displaying content as it appears on your public Instagram and ends immediately when you disconnect your Instagram account or remove It's Official from your Instagram settings. Your control: You can revoke this licence at any time by disconnecting Instagram from your vendor profile page or by removing It's Official from your Instagram settings (Apps and Websites). Upon disconnection, we will remove your Instagram content from our display and delete cached data within 24 hours. No modification: We do not modify, edit, or repurpose your Instagram content beyond displaying it as fetched. We do not use your content for marketing, training AI models, or any purpose other than displaying it on your profile. Removal at our discretion: We reserve the right to remove specific Instagram content from display if it violates our Acceptable Use policy or any applicable law, even before you disconnect. Account requirements: Instagram integration requires an Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported by Meta's Instagram Graph API.

The Service facilitates communication between couples and wedding vendors. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a vendor. We are not responsible for: • The accuracy of vendor information sourced from Google Places or other third parties • The accuracy of vendor information displayed via Instagram integration • Vendor responsiveness, quality of service or pricing • Any dispute arising from a vendor booking or transaction • Loss resulting from relying on AI vendor recommendations All contracts and payments with vendors are between you and the vendor directly.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

The It's Official platform, including its design, code, AI models, branding and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or create derivative works without our written permission. Content you upload or create on the platform (wedding plans, guest lists, mood boards, vendor profile content, Instagram content displayed via integration etc.) remains your property. You grant us a limited licence to process, store and display it to provide the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim • We are not liable for losses caused by: vendor failures, AI inaccuracies, platform downtime, third-party service failures (including Instagram API outages or content removal), or content removed by Meta from your Instagram Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. You may delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with or without notice. On termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Any connected Instagram integration will be disconnected and cached Instagram data deleted within 24 hours of account closure.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
