Instagram Data Deletion

If you are a vendor who has connected your Instagram account to It's Official, you have two ways to delete your Instagram data from our systems. Both methods result in complete deletion within 24 hours.

This is the fastest way to remove your Instagram data: 1. Sign in to It's Official at https://its-official.co.uk 2. Go to your vendor profile page (Profile in the navigation) 3. Scroll to the Instagram section 4. Click "Disconnect" 5. Confirm the disconnection This immediately removes your Instagram data from your profile. All cached Instagram data (photos, captions, profile information, access tokens) is deleted from our systems within 24 hours.

You can also revoke access from within Instagram itself: 1. Open Instagram on your phone 2. Go to Settings and activity 3. Tap "Apps and websites" 4. Tap the "Active" tab 5. Find "It's Official" and tap "Remove" When you remove our app from your Instagram settings, Meta automatically notifies us via webhook. We delete your Instagram data within 24 hours of receiving this notification.

When you disconnect or revoke access, we delete the following from our systems: • Your Instagram access token • Your Instagram user ID • Your cached profile information (username, biography, profile picture URL, account type, media count) • Your cached media (photos, videos, captions, timestamps, permalinks) • Your connection metadata (when you connected, when data was last fetched)

Disconnecting Instagram only removes Instagram-specific data. The following is NOT affected: • Your It's Official vendor account itself • Your vendor profile (other than the Instagram section) • Any business information you have manually entered (bio, pricing, contact information, portfolio photos uploaded directly to It's Official) • Your enquiry history with couples • Your subscription and billing data If you also wish to delete your entire It's Official account, please contact us at privacy@its-official.co.uk.

If Meta has provided you with a confirmation code from a deletion request, or if you need a confirmation reference for your records, contact us at privacy@its-official.co.uk with your Instagram username. We will provide a confirmation reference within 24 hours. Confirmation codes are also issued automatically when Meta routes a data deletion request through our webhook. The code appears in the URL Meta provides to you.

• Disconnect via vendor profile: cached data cleared from active systems immediately, fully purged within 24 hours • Revoke via Instagram settings: data deleted within 24 hours of Meta's webhook notification • Manual email request to privacy@its-official.co.uk: confirmed within 30 days as required under UK GDPR, typically processed within 24 hours We do not sell or share your Instagram data with third parties at any point.
